They are quite durable, The material used to print them is an engineering grade polymer, noted for it’s impact resistance. During the design process I’ve have caps survive over two seasons with no notable damage. With that said, if you cast it into a bunch of rocks…it’ll still break.

While the weight stud can hold over 3 grams of weight, I suggest no more than 2 grams be added. The main reason is castability as a 10mm trout cap with 2 grams of weight (two 7/32”) beads weighs nearly a quarter ounce.
