About
Greg Maund
Greg started fishing at a young age, During family camping trips and later at His families Cabin. He started Fly fishing a few years later after taking an interest in how his dad wasn’t getting snagged and losing lures. He started fly tying in his early teens, learning the basic patterns, and experimenting with new ones. After high school Greg spent 4 summers as a wildland firefighter, (Fishing in between) paying his way through university. During this time, He started experimenting with different tying materials, building brushes, and improving his tying skills.
Throughout the years He has fished from the B.C coast into Alberta, and from Vancouver Island up to the Yukon border. These days, most weekends for Greg are spent Fishing, or getting stuck (sometimes both) Or spending time with his wife and 3 yr. old Daughter.
In 2021 Greg started playing with the idea of designing a fly cap that could add realism, hold some additional weight and easily be 3d Printed. Throughout that summer and the summer of 2022 he spent innumerable hours designing and tweaking until the trout and dive caps came to be what they are now.
